The Cameras of "The Cinema Detective"

Three different cameras were used to shoot THE CINEMA DETECTIVE. The driving footage segments were shot with the Google Pixel 5 smartphone on a dashboard mount. The main sequences with the character of Kevin Quartermain, including his scenes in the Image Chamber, were filmed with the Canon Rebel T7 DSLR camera. The scenes with George Kaplan inside the Image Chamber were filmed with the Zoom Qn2-4K video recorder. Footage from all three cameras is combined in the film. There is no one "right" camera to use -- just whatever one is right for what you're trying to achieve with your film. Each camera can serve a different purpose.

What could they learn from this footage? What possible meanings and purposes could it contain? These are questions we delve into in THE CINEMA DETECTIVE, against the backdrop of a dystopian fiction.
